Minimum amount for funding an account:

• Spread Betting account needs to be funded with a minimum of £200
• CFD account needs to be funded with a minimum of £500

NatWest Index accepts the following cards:

Important

We will only accept payments from credit or debit cards in your own name. Third party payments will not be accepted. Card payments will take a minimum of 30 minutes to clear. There is no charge for using a UK debit card. NatWest Index will levy a minimum charge of 1.8% against all credit card and non-UK debit card transactions. Your credit card provider may levy additional charges - please check this with them.

Telephone payment

Online is the quickest and easiest way to fund your account.

However, if you are in a position where you can't access the Internet, please contact us on 0203 003 2500 and have your debit or credit card to hand.

Electronic bank transfer

Please note that in terms of the legal and regulatory requirements to which we are subject, we are unable to accept cash payments directly into our bank account. All funding must be transferred electronically to us from an account in your name.

If you are arranging a bank transfer, please quote one of the NatWest Index bank account details shown below according to the currency you wish to deposit. We recommend you ask your bank to quote your full name and NatWest Index SB account number (if this is not the first time you are funding you account).
